Jansma Shipping B.V. was founded in Rotterdam in 2004 by a small team of terminal operators and shipbrokers who believed that storage, shipping and chartering should be priced and managed as one system — not three separate profit centres.
Today, we operate from five of the world's most important petroleum ports: Rotterdam, Houston, Jurong, Fujairah and Zhoushan. We own approximately 50% of the storage capacity we market, and we sub-lease the balance from trusted terminal partners under long-term framework agreements.
Our customer base includes major trading houses, national oil companies, independent refiners and aviation fuel suppliers. What they have in common is an expectation that their storage and logistics partner will behave like an owner, not a broker.
